Meet one of our newest members David Spoor
David Spoor is a choir member, Eucharistic Minister and Chalice Bearer. While only being a member of St. Martins since May of 2014 David has jumped right in sharing his talents to praise God and be an active member of the congregation. He has been a great asset to the choir and unlike most of our choir members he seems to be able to read music.
David lives in New Bedford with his husband of 23 (Jorge ) and a well mannered toy poodle called Boris.
“Growing up Catholic I left the Catholic Church 5 years ago to join the Episcopal Church. In May of 2014 my journey brought me to St. Martins. From day one this church was welcoming, caring and truly shared the love and welcoming arms of God. St. Martin’s is a very special community built of care, love, friendship and faith in a loving God. St. Martins is open to everyone that seeks God and I am blessed to be a member of St. Martins. “
